Move over, Siri: HR is getting its own AI assistant
- A new artificial intelligence app for HR managers is about to make its debut, Workforce reports. SueAI is an artificial intelligence assistant, much like Apple’s Siri, that will answer HR-related questions and find the answers, if necessary.
- The technology will allow employees to get answers to questions about benefits and other HR-related functions, says Razor Fish Vice President Anthony Onesto, an advisor to technology start-ups. The app can free up HR managers from mundane tasks, such as responding multiple times to the same query, so they can focus on more strategic responsibilities. Onesto envisions SueAI assisting HR with culture building, coaching, analyzing employee data and identifying high performers.
- SueAI, which is still in beta format, uses algorithms and machine learning to communicate. HR managers won’t have to learn coding to use the app. Other technology start-ups are working on similar HR apps.
SueAI is in the early-development stage and won’t be immediately available, but employers should learn now about the app and how it operates. Technology surfaces and evolves quickly, so companies need to be ready when platforms launch.
Studies show employees aren’t always happy with how they access their benefits or how their benefits are communicated through HRMS, especially outdated systems. SueAI could be the type of addition to HRMS that makes benefits information more interactive.
