Hershey, International Motors and more announced new CHROs in August. Here are the companies that welcomed new HR professionals to the team in September.
Kimberly-Clark
At the end of August, Kimberly-Clark, a company known for owning brands like Huggies, Kleenex, Kotex and Pullups, named Stacey Valy Panayiotou as its CHRO. Previously, Panayiotou was CHRO at Ball Corp.
“Her commitment to building people-first cultures that are both high-performing and caring aligns directly with our company’s values,” Kimberly-Clark Chairman and CEO Mike Hsu said of Panayiotou joining the company.
Uno Minda
Indian auto parts manufacturer Uno Minda welcomed Garima Garg to the team as its new CHRO in early September. The Korn Ferry and Deloitte alum, who also worked at HSBC and PwC, most recently worked at ReNew. She joined in 2020 as vice president of HR, and worked her way up to SVP and head of HR for solar projects and manufacturing.
In a post shared on Uno Minda’s LinkedIn page, Garg said, “I look forward to building on its strong cultural DNA to fuel the next phase of growth.”
Consumers Energy
In mid-September, Consumers Energy named Shannon Thomas to SVP and CPO, following Thomas’ stint as CHRO at EnerSys.
“I’m thrilled to have Shannon join the Consumers Energy team,” said Garrick Rochow, president and CEO of both Consumers Energy and CMS Energy. He noted that Thomas’ experience should help the company “better align our people strategy, customer and co-worker needs with our long-term company strategic priorities.”
Hero Motocorp
Another Indian auto manufacturer, Hero Motocorp, announced Madhuri Mehta as its new chief human resources officer in a Sept. 28 LinkedIn post.
Named Best HR Leader of the Year during the 2025 Economic Times’ Human Capital Awards, Madhuri has two decades of experience. She also joins the company’s Prevention of Sexual Harassment committee.
“Her leadership marks an important step forward in our journey to foster an empowering work-place culture and create lasting value for all stakeholders,” Hero Motocorp said in the post.
Equity Prime Mortgage
Equity Prime Mortgage named Anjanette Valenta its chief people officer at the end of the month. Since Valenta joined EPM in September 2024, her presence has “been transformational in a very short period of time,” EPM CEO Eddy Perez Jr. said in Sept. 24 statement.
“Promoting her to Chief People Officer is both a recognition of what she has achieved and a commitment to the future we are building together,” he added.
