Staley was most recently head of HR for Cook County, Illinois, which contains the city of Chicago. Before that, he was regional VP and CHRO for Loyola Medicine and Trinity Health, which have 13,000 employees in the Chicago area.
Staley will head HR for a system with 16,000 workers across 14 hospitals, 80 clinics and other facilities in Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin.

Information technology, data and cloud services provider Flexential named Marilyn Tyfting its chief people officer on Dec. 17. She will lead global HR strategy, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, leadership development and culture for the company, which runs 40 data centers and has undergone “significant growth” in the past year.
Tyfting previously worked as SVP and chief corporate officer for TELUS Digital, where she oversaw HR during a period of growth from 5,000 to 80,000 employees.
Judi Health
Sara Bunn is the new chief human resources officer for health technology company and benefits administrator Judi Health, the company announced Dec. 18. Bunn was previously an executive director for Boston Consulting Group.
She will be responsible for all aspects of people strategy and will be “foundational” as the company continues to scale, Judi Health said in a news release.
ProShares
Exchange-traded funds provider ProShares brought Sharon Rosenthal on board as chief human resources officer based in Bethesda, Maryland, the company announced Dec. 1. She will play a key role in “attracting and developing top-tier talent” amid an “ambitious” push for growth, ProShares said.
Rosenthal was most recently CHRO at Envestnet.
FTI Consulting
Rike Rabl will be FTI Consulting’s new chief human resources officer, the company announced Dec. 9. Rabl joined the consulting group in 2020 and most recently served as deputy chief human resources officer, assisting outgoing CHRO Holly Paul in overseeing global HR operations for the company.
“Rike’s global perspective and track record in driving transformational change will help us build on the strong foundation” created by Paul, Steven Gunby, CEO and chairman of FTI Consulting, said in a statement.
