Resilience in the face of uncertainty was a major theme, with Kamille Washington, Workhuman’s director of internal communications and inclusion, suggesting the field of DEI had some approaches to reflect on and two members of Yelp’s HR team emphasizing the importance of acting on employee feedback — not just listening.
AI may have been the most heavily integrated topic at the conference, coming up again and again. HR pros projected a cautious optimism, aware of AI’s potential to drastically improve productivity but also aware of its flaws and its potential to alienate workers.
