In celebration of LearnLux’s 10-year anniversary, this year’s challenge included a special grand prize. Celina Shepherd, an employee of Texas-based home loan servicer and LearnLux client Mr. Cooper Group, won the challenge’s $10,000 grand prize by completing daily tasks focused on improving employee financial wellbeing through education and personalized guidance.
“It’s hard to put into words what winning the $10,000 giveaway means to me. It was hard to understand it was real, when LearnLux gave me the news. I am humbled, overwhelmed and grateful,” said Celina. “I’ve now used the funds to pay towards our daughter’s wedding!”
Designed by LearnLux’s Certified Financial Planner® professionals, the challenge empowers employees to reach their financial goals and feel more confident in their finances. Recognizing how addressing financial wellbeing often feels insurmountable to employees, the challenge was broken down into daily tasks and tips across a habit-building 30 days to encourage members to approach their financial wellbeing in a way that felt manageable. The challenge was open to all LearnLux members from participating employers.
“As I was clicking through the steps to complete the 30-Day Challenge, I was learning and having fun. I was also hoping to win,” said Celina. “This year I met with my Financial Planner who was friendly, down-to-earth and answered my questions in a caring manner, as if my success would be his. I followed his guidance and quickly felt the relief of a better financial position.”
More than 97 percent of members who participated in the 2025 30-Day Challenge reported it made a helpful difference in their financial wellbeing.
