NSITE Introduces NSITE Connect in Upcoming Webinar

June 11, 2021

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 10, 2021NSITE, a talent management enterprise of National Industries for the Blind (NIB), is hosting a virtual information session to introduce the organization’s latest tool, NSITE Connect. NSITE Connect will help HR leaders act on their diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives by reaching a diverse pool of candidates, including people who are blind and visually impaired. The webinar will be led by head of NSITE Jonathan Lucus on June 16, 2021 from 2:00 - 3:00pm ET.

“DE&I initiatives are top of mind for most businesses right now, but many don’t think to include those who are blind or visually impaired, which is why NSITE aims to teach employers how to reach this community. We want to help employers accommodate new employees who are blind or visually impaired and show them how they can help these employees excel in the workplace,” says Jonathan Lucus. “NSITE Connect makes it even easier for businesses to reach out to a wide pool of diverse candidates when looking for new talent. We’ll cover how in our upcoming webinar.”

Hiring managers can take an innovative approach to connecting job seekers who are blind and visually impaired to available job opportunities. Users can:

- Achieve DE&I initiatives

- Meet Section 503 requirements

- Post jobs

- Access NSITE’s talent database

- Attend quarterly informational webinars

- Access a variety of employment support services

All employers that participate in the webinar will receive 50% off of NSITE Connect for one year.
