Professional Bank Expands Palm Beach County Team with Addition of Former Bank President
Lee Frankhouser joins fast-growing financial institution as Executive Vice President/Private Banker
CORAL GABLES and PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. | June 18, 2019 – Professional Bank, one of Florida’s fastest-growing financial institutions, announced the arrival of Lee Frankhouser as Executive Vice President/Private Banker. Based in the Palm Beach Gardens office, Frankhouser brings nearly four decades of banking experience to the Bank.
Frankhouser spent 10 years as President and COO of Floridian Community Bank, previously based in Davie, which is now owned by Synovus Financial Corp. Under his leadership, Floridian Community Bank grew from $65 million in assets to $650 million. Before that, he served in various executive roles at the former National City Bank (now part of PNC) for nearly three decades.
Joining other recent high-level hires in the Palm Beach Gardens office, Frankhouser’s addition is another example of how the Bank is consistently expanding by hiring top talent. South Florida bankers from large institutions are increasingly attracted to the Bank’s entrepreneurial and nimble nature.
“We are pleased to welcome Lee Frankhouser to our growing team in Palm Beach County,” said Daniel R. Sheehan, Executive Chairman of Professional Bank. “His experience, track record and relationships will complement our platform and support our plans for further growth.”
Frankhouser will initially focus on building the Bank’s presence in Wellington, where he maintains strong business relationships.
A native of Pittsburgh, Frankhouser has been based in South Florida for more than 15 years. The Jupiter resident is involved with numerous civic and charitable organizations, including Ambassadors of the Honda Classic, the Broward County Sheriff’s Department Foundation, Nova Southeastern University Ambassadors and Advisory boards and Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center of Wellington.
Frankhouser played collegiate baseball and football before earning a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Bethany College in Bethany, W. Va., and master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Waynesburg University in Waynesburg, Pa.
“I am thrilled to have an opportunity to work closely with people I can learn from and share a mutual respect,” said Frankhouser. “As more community banks are acquired by large institutions, we are filling a void to accommodate the small-to-mid-size business owner with high-touch service in a way that creates a desirable experience for the client.”
