New York University’s School of Professional Studies and Tulsa Remote are launching a new Remote Work Success Certificate aiming to help workers — and their leaders — thrive in remote and hybrid work environments.
The inaugural cohort, which starts in February 2026, combines live online learning with an in-person experience at NYU Tulsa. Remote professionals nationwide can participate, with travel and accommodation provided for those not located in the Tulsa, Oklahoma, region.
The program will focus on “bringing together remote professionals from across the country to sharpen communication, collaboration, leadership and career-growth skills, all grounded in real-world remote work practice,” Tulsa Remote wrote in a post.
As part of three interactive modules, participants will gain tools for productivity, collaboration, leadership and long-term career growth in the remote economy. The first two modules occur synchronously online, with the third based in Tulsa during a two-day in-person session.
Sessions include lessons on productive workspaces, time management, guiding distributed teams and emerging trends in hybrid environments, among others.
Leaders and managers continue to look for new strategies to manage remote work and support their teams, experts tell HR Dive. Providing clear directives and deadlines, meeting with direct reports regularly and offering social communication opportunities can improve engagement and well-being, they said.
