Dive Insight:
Across all industries, workers point to work-life balance as a key factor for determining job satisfaction as well as where to work. Paid parental leave and now money for adoption are benefits companies use to specifically target millennials and women. By making this benefit available for workers across all earning levels, Hilton and others are changing the benefits landscape.
That change is evident in the growing hospitality industry where competition for the best and brightest is reason for many companies to ramp up recruiting strategies. The move by Hilton will enable it to not only be competitive in the hotel arena, but also be a leader.
