MGM employee development program focuses on international leadership
- MGM Macau is expanding its exclusive PRIDE employee development programs to include 4 critical tracks for 111 local team members, in coordination with MGM Resorts International’s properties in Las Vegas, the Macau Daily Times reports.
- This is the third year of the program, designed to cross-train associates on best practices in the challenging field of hospitality. These additional training tracks are geared specifically to prepare 21 Leadership PRIDE associates for international roles.
- High-potential employees from the Macau and Cotai properties will embark on training in leadership, management, specialist, and supervisory tracks that will expose them to the challenges that they can expect early in their careers.
Well-known for it's outstanding reputation in the hospitality industry, MGM has proven it's dedication to providing a leading employee development program. This year, MGM is focusing on added leadership and supervisory learning tracks, which will enable the most talented employees a chance to become more effective in their increasingly international roles.
The MGM Las Vegas locations provide an exciting fast-paced environment in which trainees can hone their skills. Other employers in the hospitality and resort market can learn from the MGM programs how important it is to develop future leaders by giving them opportunities to train on this level. Corporate leaders are demanding this training. As the next generation of leaders emerge, companies that support ongoing career development have the advantage over those stuck in the past.
