HR virtuoso, Kelly Dean, will lead Jellyvision’s talent strategy and employee growt
CHICAGO – Jellyvision, maker of ALEX® (the interactive benefits communication software), welcomes Kelly Dean as its new Vice President of People. Dean will lead Jellyvision’s strategy for managing talent, performance and culture. She will also brew a new pot of coffee when she takes the last cup, because she is not a monster.
More than 1,000 companies – including 106 of the Fortune 500 – use ALEX to help their employees make complicated-but-essential life decisions like choosing health insurance, saving for retirement, or taking a leave of absence. And almost 400 people at Jellyvision work to make ALEX as helpful as possible.
“Jellyvision’s mantra, ‘Be helpful,’ really speaks volumes to the type of ship we’re running,” said Dean, who was relieved to find that Jellyvision is not an actual ship. “The people here are genuinely passionate, curious, and humble, which makes me thrilled to join the team.”
Dean brings more than a decade of HR experience to her new role. She most recently served as Director of Human Resources at Crate and Barrel. Before that, she was the Talent Strategy Manager for the Americas at Apple, including the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and Brazil, which are some of our favorite Americas.
Her strategy will be to recruit and retain the passionate, humble, curious, and curiously delightful employees Jellyvision is already known for, while engaging employees even further in their own performance and development.
“I’ve learned that self-awareness is the key to growth—both personally and professionally,” said Dean. “My goal is to help each person recognize their potential, develop their skills, and ultimately join Jellyvision’s deep roster of of high performers and talent leaders.”
